About Magna Housing
Magna Housing is a community-based housing association working primarily in Dorset and Somerset, with their head office in Dorchester. The organisation officially began in 1993 when West Dorset District Council transferred its housing stock, and became known as Magna Housing in 2017 when separate organisations were brought together.
As a not-for-profit organisation and exempt charity, Magna Housing is regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing. The association provides homes to rent and buy across Dorset, Somerset and Devon. They offer various services including a customer portal for rent statements and household updates, a money matters team to help with benefits and financial advice, and an online community called Magna Voice where residents can help shape services.
