Vayyar

Vayyar is a global imaging radar technology company founded in 2011, originally developing radio frequency technology for early-stage breast cancer screening. As their 4D imaging radar-on-chip technology matured, they expanded into multiple industries including senior care, automotive, public safety, smart buildings, retail, robotics, home improvement and medical applications. Their sensors use radio frequency technology covering 3-81GHz with up to 72 transceivers, generating rich point cloud data that enables devices to recognise and respond to surroundings. The technology works through walls and objects, operates in all lighting and weather conditions, and maintains privacy as it is not camera or optics-based. In senior care specifically, Vayyar provides touchless monitoring solutions that safeguard older adults whilst respecting their dignity, with capabilities including detecting and tracking people, monitoring respiration, heart rate, sleep and gait patterns.
