L & Q Housing Trust

L&Q Living is a housing trust supporting more than 10,000 people across London, the South East and North West of England. The organisation provides tailored housing and support services for people with mental health needs, individuals with learning disabilities, older adults and young people. Services are personalised and designed to offer choice, involvement and control to help people live more independently. The organisation offers Later Life Living services including Active Living sheltered accommodation and Independent Living extra care with 24/7 staffed support. Supported living services help individuals manage daily activities safely and independently through detailed personalised care plans, with support including help with domestic tasks, financial management and participation in hobbies. L&Q Living works with over 70 specialist providers to deliver commissioned services and operates agency-managed properties where direct care is provided by partners. L&Q Inclusion is an initiative aimed at reducing social isolation and loneliness among residents through events and activities throughout the year. The initiative includes themed months covering Dignity, Safeguarding, Disability Awareness, Health and Wellbeing, Dementia and Mental Health Awareness, and Equality and Diversity. Later Life Living residents benefit from intensive housing management, robust safeguarding procedures, digital and assistive technology, and a dementia-friendly strategy.
